Description
Low chlorine pools require different test strips
Most pool and hot tub test strips show a chlorine range of 1-3ppm as ‘OK’. If you have a mineral system or other chlorine saving device on your pool, this level is too high. These test strips will help you keep the chlorine level low by showing the correct range for low chlorine pools.
- Indicates the low level of chlorine required for mineral pools
- Tests the critical parameters for water safety and comfort
- Pairs with copper test strips part CBI-CUT-BOX for the full range of mineral pool tests
- Fast acting
- Easy to read colors
Maintain the proper Langlier Saturation Index (LSI)
The Langlier Saturation Index (LSI) is a measure of how safe your water is for both bathers and pool equipment. If the LSI is negative, it is corrosive and will slowly eat away at pool and equipment surfaces. Corrosive water is also less confortable on your skin. If the LSI is positive, dissolved material in the water, including minerals used for sanitizing, will precipitate which could lead to staining.
These test strips help to ensure that the LSI stays in a ‘neutral’ range so the water is easy on skin and safe for pool surfaces and equipment
Save money
When your pool water has the correct level of chlorine and a balanced LSI, you will spend less money on chemicals and more time enjoying your pool. Long term, you could save thousands on costly repairs to your pool surfaces and equipment.
